MGIS - Pathfinder Office 5.10 now available

Trimble Pathfinder Office has been updated with version 5.10. This addresses critical issues and updates that should be implemented. Please download the latest version here. For questions updating or determining your software eligibility, contact me at andy at monsenengineering dot com.

Version 5.10 of the GPS Pathfinder Office software includes the following new and updated features:
• Support for the GeoExplorer® 6000 series handheld.
• The Export utility has been updated; in Export Setup Properties / Position Filter, the Filter by GNSS Position Info field Minimum Satellites has been replaced by the new field Minimum Geometry.
• The Configuration Manager has been updated:
– Support has been added for Smart Settings. Smart Settings enable the receiver to use all available GNSS information to determine which combination of satellites to use to generate the best possible position for any given environment, without the need for you to adjust receiver settings to match the conditions. For more information, see the GeoExplorer 6000 Series User Guide, or the TerraSync Software User Guide (version 5.10).
Note – Smart Settings are only supported on the GeoExplorer 6000 series handhelds.
– Velocity Filtering has been removed.
Note – You cannot have two versions of the GPS Pathfinder Office software installed at the same time. Installing version 5.10 will use any existing settings and project data found under C:\pfdata.
